We publish prices, permit information and seasonal guidance because nobody else in this county does. Here’s what that information is and isn’t.
The ranges on our pricing page, our cost guide and individual service pages are there so you can work out whether to call us. They reflect typical jobs in Mobile County, Alabama.
They are not quotes and they are not offers. Your job may fall outside them. A binding price comes from a written quote issued after we have walked your property, and only from that.
Our permit guide describes, in general terms, how permitting works in this county as we understand it. Requirements change. Jurisdictional boundaries move with annexation. Your parcel may carry conditions, covenants or easements that no general guide can anticipate. Always confirm with the office that has jurisdiction over your specific property before clearing or demolishing anything. Nothing here is legal advice.
Where we mention wetlands, regulated waters or floodplain, we are flagging that these things exist and matter in coastal Alabama. We are not qualified to determine whether any part of your property is a regulated wetland, and we don’t. Only a qualified delineation and the relevant agencies can do that. If a determination is needed, get one before work begins.
Our guidance on timing, methods, plot placement, firebreak width and similar reflects practical experience in this region. It is not forestry advice, agronomic advice or fire management advice. For those, the Alabama Forestry Commission and Alabama Extension are free, expert and genuinely useful.
Reading this website does not create a contractor-client relationship. That begins when you accept a written quote.
We link out where it helps. We don’t control those sites and we’re not responsible for what they say.
Job photographs show completed work on specific properties in specific conditions. Results on your property will differ. Where a photograph is illustrative rather than a photograph of our own work, it is labelled as such, and we would rather show an empty space than pass off stock imagery as our work.
We try to keep this website current and correct. If you spot something wrong or out of date, call (251) 454-2801 and tell us: we’d rather know.
Call and you get John Williams, not an answering service and not a dispatcher. If it’s after hours or a Sunday, send the form and you’ll have a text back and a callback first thing.
