What’s set on your device when you visit this site, why, and how to turn the optional ones off.
Small text files a website stores on your device. Some are necessary for the site to function. Others tell us how the site is being used or whether an advertisement led to a phone call.
| Type | What it does | Can you refuse it? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Makes the site work: page delivery, security, remembering your cookie choice. | No. The site won’t work properly without these. |
| Analytics | Counts visits, shows which pages get read and where visitors come from. Aggregated. | Yes. |
| Call tracking | Shows which page or advertisement a caller was looking at when they called, by displaying a matched telephone number. | Yes. |
| Advertising | Measures whether a search advertisement led to a call or a form submission, so we don’t waste budget. | Yes. |
Some of these are set by providers we use rather than by us directly, typically our analytics provider, our call tracking provider and the advertising platform we run search ads on. They handle that data under their own privacy policies as well as under ours.
If a consent banner appears on your first visit, your choice there controls the optional categories. You can change it any time.
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies. Blocking all cookies will break parts of this and most other websites.
There is no consistent industry standard for responding to browser Do Not Track signals, so this site does not respond to them. We’d rather say that than imply otherwise.
Analytics providers generally publish browser add-ons that opt you out across all sites using them.
Nothing breaks. You’ll still be able to read every page, see every price and call us. All that changes is that we won’t know which page you were reading when you decided to.
See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information generally.
Call and you get John Williams, not an answering service and not a dispatcher. If it’s after hours or a Sunday, send the form and you’ll have a text back and a callback first thing.
