Home/About
Most clearing outfits on this coast don’t put a name or a face on their website. That’s the whole reason this page exists.
Integrity Earthworks is one operator working out of Coden in south Mobile County. The person who answers the phone is the person who walks your property, writes your quote and sits in the cab. There is no crew leader relaying instructions and no salesman who has never been on the site.
That’s a real limit and it’s worth being straight about it. It means about three jobs a week and no more, so calling early on a deadline job matters. It also means nobody has to explain your job to anyone.
I grew up around machinery, my dad and my grandfather both ran equipment, and I was on it as soon as I was big enough to reach the controls. Eleven years of heavy equipment work later, this is still what I’d rather be doing than anything else. Clearing land and being out in the woods is not a bad way to spend a day.
The primary machine. Posi-Track undercarriage with a forestry mulching head on the front. Handles stems up to about 7 inches and covers roughly ¾ to 1¼ acres a day depending on how thick it is. This is what does the clearing, the underbrush work, the lines, the lanes and the breaks.
The dirt machine. Pulling stumps and root plates, pond cleanout, levelling, driveway shaping, and anything that needs reach and digging force rather than a cutting head.
Forestry mulching head, grapple bucket, root rake, and buckets. No stump grinder, no bush hog, no brush cutter head, which is why those three services aren’t on this site.
Trackhoe and dozer for jobs that genuinely need them. Rented rather than owned, which means a lead time, tell us early if your job needs one.
16,000 lb dump trailer, and an equipment trailer rated for the heaviest machine.
Because several better-resourced outfits on this coast advertise around-the-clock availability, and we’re not going to pretend to match it. One operator cannot honestly promise 24/7. What we can promise is that when we tell you a start date, that’s the date.
If you call on a Sunday, you’ll get a text back and a call first thing Monday. That’s a worse answer than someone claiming they’ll come out at 2am, and it’s a true one.
Nobody else around here does. The usual reason given is that every job is different, which is true, and why the numbers on our pricing page are bands rather than a price list. But a band tells you whether to keep reading, and that’s worth more to you than a mystery.
Call and you get John Williams, not an answering service and not a dispatcher. If it’s after hours or a Sunday, send the form and you’ll have a text back and a callback first thing.
